Hi! My name is June and I’m a UK based media composer. I aim to create music that builds a soundscape for the world created by the visuals. Sometimes, even silence is an important part of this! I love working on projects that give me an opportunity to explore genres and styles from all over the world. I'm actually in the process of building a collection of unique and rare world instruments, starting with my homeland of Kenya!
Currently pursuing a degree in Film Music at Leeds Conservatoire, I have had a lot of time to focus on building my musical and technical skills as a composer. This, coupled with my previous education at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, as well as a GCSE and A-Level in music achieving top grades, has grown my knowledge and confidence as a musician.
I've had the privilege of connecting with a lot of interesting people, and look forward to working on an array of other projects from all forms of media.
